Being from the Albany area and living there most of my life, I have found this is a wonderful outlet now that I live over seas…. I have many friends who write for this site and have tried to convince me to write about my adventures here seeing, being from New York and my lifelong experiences there, give me a unique perspective about the life I live here in Australia… Did I mention I moved for a guy….. I met on the net…. with 5 kids of his own…. the adventures are never ending… The only way I make it through is with a wonderful family, and an amazing sense of humor!

I’ve actually seen a B-24 during one of its visits to Albany . . . . it was one of those cases where I was in the house and heard what appeared to be a pair of lawn mowers flying overhead, so I rushed to the back window in time to watch it make its final approach to ALB!

Thanks for kind comments in re #4, Gina . . . I appreciate them, and am glad you noticed!! My office is right off of the Patroon Room in the corner facing the fountain (for three more days), so if you’re there for lunch this week, it would be great to meet you in the real world at some point, having communicated so much in virtual space!
